What Advice Would You Give A New Seventh Grader About Navigating And Surviving Seventh Grade Life?

My Dear Seventh Graders,

This is your last blog post for this year. Next week is finals week and then off for summer vacation. Please know that I will continue to post interesting videos and images if you want to check in from time to time. I’d love to hear what you’re up to this summer break. You will be able to sign in as a member of this blog until July when I will delete this class to get ready for my new students. Please know that you can always post to my blog even if you are no longer a member of it, and I would love to hear from you!

What would you have liked to have known as a new seventh grader that you didn’t know? For this week’s response, I would like for you to leave words of wisdom of seventh grade life for next year’s students. In August, when my new students are introduced to this blog, they will read your comments that you leave for them, just as you all did at the beginning of this year. I guess you can call it a tradition. For example: What can you tell them about academic life? Social adjustments? Any secrets to navigating the lunch line, etc? What are the highs and the lows of seventh grade and how best to survive the stress and drama that will surely come their way? What did you love best about this year, and what did you find most difficult?

I found two videos that I thought you would find interesting. You can comment on them as well if you like.
