Welcome sixth graders to your class blog!
Be sure that you view and listen to the blog screen cast in the English Moodle site if you don’t remember the directions on how to post a comment. The screen cast will walk you through the process. Remember to answer all the parts of the prompt and put a return between thoughts to indicate a new paragraph. (If applicable) You are not able to indent on a blog. Please take care to proof your comment for any spelling errors before hitting the submit button. You might want to type your response in a word doc where you can check the spelling and save your comment in case you have any trouble posting. You must copy the anti spam word exactly as you see it into the box and then hit the submit button. Please do not enter any email address and use your first name only. Use your last name initial if there are more of you in the grade with the same first name.
To enter a comment:
1. In the first box type your first name only. Add the first letter intitial of your last name if necessary.
2. Do not enter an email address.
3. Copy the anti spam word exactly.
4. Enter your comment in the big text box.
5. Click the submit key.
When the page refreshes, you should see your comment!
Students, please follow the directions on the image. Remember to answer all of the questions. I am looking for one paragraph that is detailed and gives the reader lots of information to include which character you chose and why, and examples of what the two of you would do together for a day. Please do not borrow any ideas from your fellow classmates; no comments should be copied from another.
A reminder that we want to hear your written voice, read your thoughts and opinions, and understand your vocabulary. Parents can help with the brainstorm of ideas to get you started, but no editing should be done.
Check your spelling, no text language, and watch for that lower case i. If you notice an error after submitting, reply to yourself by using the reply link under your name and tell what needs to be corrected. If you want to reply to a fellow classmate, just click on the reply link under his name.
Have fun and let your creative juices flow!
